New Insurance Options + New Top Companies
This new release launches the addition of 3 new Mexican companies on the site, all competing for business. Mapfre and Chubb join in offering competitive quotes for Mexican RV, Mexican Motorcycle, and Mexico Car-and-Truck insurance. Chubb has also contributed a new insurance option for Northbound folks bringing their Mexican-registered vehicles to the United States. This one is called “Northbound Insurance.” All companies are top-notch in Mexico, registering top-10 in number according to national insurance statics kept by AMIS.
Finally, GNP has been added, offering an excellent homeowners program through NFP/Mexpro, which you can now access through our website using the Mexico Home Insurance platform.

If you haven’t activated your account from the email this past summer, you will receive an “invalid password” error message. Check your email for the Activation link. We could not move over your credentials – so you have to SET even though it says “RESET.” Let me know if you have any questions.

Territory Discounts
When it asks where you’re going, choose the most restrictive. Some of the underwriters have discounts based on the territory of coverage.
Example: If you ONLY travel to the Baja Peninsula and/or the state of Sonora south of Arizona, then select Baja/Sonora. If you need coverage in other bordering Mexican states, like Nuevo Leon, Chihuahua, Coahuila, and Tamaulipas, select Partial (US Adjacent), the second option. Don’t worry. The Limited Territory option also includes Baja California. If you’re not sure, select Entire Mexico.
The “RECOMMENDED” Option
There is a scoring competition between underwriters, and the competition’s winner is Recommended for that particular quarter. The scoring is based strictly on CLAIM PERFORMANCE. Our brokerage should only be engaged when the insurance company is not satisfactorily handling the customer claim. When a customer calls us to escalate a claim (roadside assistance included), that underwriter gets the point. At the end of the quarter, whichever underwriter has the FEWEST POINTS wins the coveted RECOMMENDED banner.
