Common Q/A’s

What is covered? Clause 1 explains in detail what is covered

What is Partial theft? Partial theft is when something that is attached to your car is stolen such as a radio, tires, engine, etc….

What if someone steals my possessions out of my car? These personal property items are NEVER COVERED by an auto policy. These items fall under your home owner policy. This is true of EVERY Mexico and US car insurance policies.

Is a rental car provided if I get in an accident? Clause 1 -> 10 -> 10.1 -> 10.1.12

What does Indemnify mean? To make one whole/ to right the wrong.In the event of a loss, the insurance company will attempt to restore the property to it’s condition before the loss.

What is a total loss? When the property is stolen or damaged to the extent that it cannot be repaired.

What does Shall mean? Shall means must. The action is mandatory.

What does May mean? May means that It is possible. There is a choice to complete the action or not.
