With mixed emotions, I’d like to announce the retirement of Marcy Lundy from Mexico Insurance Services on July 31, 2012.
Marcy was instrumental during our web migration and growth explosion in 2008 and 2009. She was responsible for many of the customer-facing features that are available on our sites today. She has gained many new friends throughout her years on the phone and via email and I believe we could not be where we are today without her help. Some of her most notable accomplishments include:
- The automation of the annual renewals
- The social media presence
- Scripting of customer excellence and making sure there is nothing more important than our customer and making them feel loved
- Holidays cards for clients (now delivered electronically to her dismay and disagreement)
- Installing LOVE into the organization
Perhaps the most important influence she had on the business, as the mother of the founder, was the motherly influence over our program. We had to make sure that everything we did was suitable for her. We had to make sure there was 24/7 assistance, we had to make sure there were English speaking people available in Mexico at all times, we had to make sure it wasn’t too expensive and definitely not too confusing. The website had to be easy, easy to see, easy to follow. She has very little patience for things that don’t work – so we had to be perfect. Quite literally, we owe everything to Marcy Lundy.
What will she do now?
She will no longer even think about Mexican Insurance. She has two grandkids in San Diego who won’t stay little forever. Please join me in wishing her the best of luck in retirement and many stress-free days!
Marcy Lundy was there for the start of this blog back in 2009. All of those early posts were written by her.
Great job Marcy.
Great employees are hard to find.
Enjoy your stress free days, with family and friends.
I wish you the best.
Thanks for reading John!!!
