To File a Claim: Call 011-52-555-227-9000, or toll-free (from Mexico) 800-400-9000.

1. Choose Option 1 to report the claim. In Spanish, it might say “reportar un siniestro”.
2. Then press 5 for “damages” or “daños”.
3. At this point, a representative will ask you for details, location, policy number etc.
4. Once filed, contact the authorities. If the claim involves a fire, call the fire department. If this relates to theft then contact the police.
5. Document your actions and correspondence, take names of anyone you spoke to, write down police report numbers and witnesses etc. The claims representative will ask you to write a “letter of notice” to the insurance company with all these details.

GNP Mexico Home Insurance Claim: Home Assistance

1. Call 011-52-555-227-9000, or toll-free (from Mexico) 800-400-9000.
2. Select Option 1 to report the claim. In spanish it might say “reportar un siniestro”.
3. For “Home Assistance” services, press 6 instead of 5 at option 3 above.

To Follow up on an Existing Mexico Home Insurance Claim

1. In case you need further information contact us by dialing 011-52-555-227-9000 or toll free from Mexico at 800-400-9000.
2. Select Option 3 “Consultas y aclaraciones de su póliza o dar seguimiento a un siniestro” (Consultation and clarification of their policy or follow up on a claim)
3. Option 4 “Daños” (Home) may consult regarding their claim. This can also be done by sending an e-mail to sinda@gnp.com.mx
