Wine Tastings

California does not have a lock on fine wine. From the rich grape-growing regions that surround Tijuana to the fertile soil outside Ensenada and Rosarito, wine is big business throughout the Baja peninsula.

When you visit Baja, you can sample the best those local wineries have to offer. Be sure to bring your walking shoes – you will want to take a tour and see how the grapes are grown.

Baja Whale Watching

If you are a nature lover, you will find plenty of beauty when you visit Baja. The Baja peninsula is known for its natural beauty, and for its amazing wildlife.

Some of that wildlife is found in the trees and forests, but if you are thinking really big, you need to head offshore. Whale watching is big business in Baja, and you will find plenty of operators who can take you in search of these denizens of the deep. So channel your inner Ahab and head out in search of your own white whale.

Craft Beer Adventures

If wine is not your thing, you can still enjoy some adult beverages the next time you visit Baja. Tijuana is not all about all-night partying and drunken shenanigans – there is an amazing craft brew scene here, one that is focused more on quality than quantity.

Beyond Tijuana, there are craft breweries throughout the Baja region. Whether you crave a rich dark stout, a light ale or something in between, you can find it south of the border. Just grab your glass, call your friends and get ready to have a great time.
