What happened to Latin Assist?

What happened to Latin Assist?

As you know Latin Assist was a very good Roadside Assistance with Mexican Insurance program we offered for 8 years.  It was not easy to leave my partners at Latin Assist but, by now you realize my commitment to you, our program, coverage and system – I didn’t make that decision lightly.

As far as I can tell you like:

  • simple
  • high quality
  • cheaper
  • better
  • faster

When I attended the Qualitas Agent Conference in August 2014  I learned about the AVQ – which is a domestic Roadside Assistance program that Qualitas offers to their domestic insureds.  It was amazing – it reminded me of AAA for Mexico.  Right then I knew we had to have it for our clients.  I asked the Director from Mexico City if we could tweak the program for tourists.  Over next two weeks we developed a program for tourists that addresses ALL of our goals for you….all of them:

  • One number for claims and for roadside assistance
  • 17 items of coverage including hotel stays if car is unavailable due to theft or destruction, locksmith, taxi service, air evacuation to US or Canada for medical or for passenger, etc…
  • Lower overall cost
  • More convenient for clients
  • Complete AVQ Detail (click here)

Latin Assist offered a good Roadside Assistance package that accompanied our Mex Insurance, but the AVQ for tourists we feel offers much much more.  And with our rate structure in place with Qualitas we were able to add this coverage TO EVERY Mexican Insurance POLICY without client having to pay extra.  So we addressed it all:

  • better
  • faster
  • cheaper

By now you should all know, this is how we roll…

Charles Lundy, CEO

ps:  If you purchased Latin Assist prior to 2015, clients will maintain their roadside coverage through Latin Assist.  Those contracts are still good and will be honored by Grupo Integra, Latin Assist.
